Excursions, dreaming, sleeping, cool museums, Theo's athletic and dramatic performances, books ... I love seeing how you go about these days. I also love hearing fewer mentions of pain and panic than several months ago. Sure, you are sleeping a lot (isn't that weird and kind of amazing? or upsetting?) AND you still enjoy yourself. Thanks for the posts here.

Thank you for sharing all your adventures, and your daughter's accomplishments, Jennifer! So much strength, so much courage, I am in awe. Looking forward to seeing you on Monday!

Congrats to Theo on a lone half marathon! Wow! BTW, sleeping is not a bad thing. Your body is healing while it is sleeping. Seems like you are doing it, just don't feel guilty about it. You are so incredibly active when not in dream land, and I love going on your adventures.

One question: Do you read the books you recommend in English or French? I know you listen to some. So do I. Right now I am listening to the new live cast recordings of the Harry Potter series. Yes, I've read them. I've seen the movies: TWICE! And even listened to some of Jim Dale's audible books. But since I was dealing with Harry one book and one movie every few years, this is the first time to experience them one after another and it is AMAZING! I'm so hooked, I look for reasons to be in the car, and I've cleaned out every closet in the house. I'm going walking next. I used to attempt listening to books while walking in New York, but the city was too loud, even in Central Park. Of course, that was CD days. Audio is so much better now.

I am glad you are taking care of yourself and still enjoying the arts and your family. I look forward to Liminal every week, for the updates, the museums, and especially the books!

Congratulations to Theo!! And Hurrah to you and Tim for setting out to cheer her on!

To sleep… and dream and travel there.

I’m glad you could start to chemo again and knock those markers down!

Excellent for Theo. She might want to check out the Brussels 20K. We do it every year--good atmosphere, fun course. And they accept runners starting age 12!

Brava Theo! 🎉 I’m glad you got a rainy museum day and a serenade blessing to boot. You pick which day of the week works best for you—we are here to read you!

I am so delighted to hear of Theo’s success! I’m so glad she chose to run it and yes, it is so distinctively her to do it despite not being official allowed. I wonder where she gets that from? 🙂. The Holocaust memorial in Paris is masterful designed. I wish I were in Paris with you. No matter where you go you find interesting things to do! ❤️

You do more on chemo than I do in a year.

I meant a question mark at the end of my post, but for some reason all the punctuation on my keyboard has gone haywire and changed places. My question mark has become a cedilla and everything is something else. This is going to challenge my writing..

I know that cannot possibly be true; you work so much and parent and do all the things. Bring one of your plays to Paris, will you xoxoxo

Also so intrigued by the top floor women of Jen Jacques Henner. The intense, front-facing woman in red caught my eye. Then looked over to see women not so much in repose but splayed. Gotta look him up.

Speaking for myself, I cherish your words whether they arrive on Wednesday or Sunday. I’m just grateful to see them. Congratulations to Theo! Thanks for the museum tour; as with the concert, I’ve found my trips to France to be filled with such serendipitous moments that I haven’t encountered elsewhere.

Theo deserves praise and accolades on so many levels! This former Art History major is deeply grateful for the introduction to Jen-Jacques Henner. Before today, I'd never heard of him! Lastly, please recognize that the dreams are as much a part of creativity as sitting before a device or notebook are - I genuinely believe that they are from the same font. As ever, thanks you for being there, keeping us in the loop, no matter what day of the week it lands!

I hadn;t heard of Henner either before I visited the museum, which I read about in someone else;s list of things to do in Paris. But I am glad to have discovered him. I agree that dreams are born from the same root as creative impulse. I wish I could find an interesting way to harness my dream energies in a way that would interest others.
